Frost-trol has participated for the second time in the Climatización y Refrigeración (C&R) 2021 meeting, held from November 16 to 19 at IFEMA (Madrid). The stand, located in Pavilion 8, had a large influx of visitors in its more than 180 m2, where the latest developments in highly efficient and environmentally sustainable commercial refrigeration solutions were presented, as well as the latest developments designed by the team. of Product Engineering and R + D + i 4.0 of Frost-trol.

Cocoon box

With great reception from visitors, Frost-trol has presented its refrigerated lockers solution to promote electronic commerce in the food sector, allowing food distribution companies to improve their logistics and offer a 24/7 service, bringing the product to areas with high traffic of people, such as service stations, offices, shopping centers, etc. These models are being developed for positive, negative and neutral temperatures.

Frost-trol's commitment to nature leads it to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly products that play an important role in preserving the planet. That is why this storage solution works with propane (R290), a natural refrigerant that has zero impact on the atmosphere. Also all our insulated panels are manufactured with a sustainable solution without HFC based on water and with CO2 as a natural blowing agent.

On the other hand, Frost-trol prioritizes flexibility and speed in service, presenting the Cocoon Box with a modular design and Plug & Play system, with which the customer can combine individual columns according to needs, choosing for each a different range of temperature. Thanks to this modular design, predictive and corrective maintenance operations only affect the column in which work is being carried out, keeping the rest of the lockers in active operation.

During the event, visitors have been able to see, first-hand, the operation of the software of these refrigerated lockers, as well as the possibilities offered by the incorporation of artificial intelligence to this solution for e-commerce.

Free Frost Energy Tech Technology

The innovation developed by Frost-trol together with the Biofresh Tech company is based on integrating inside a refrigerator cabinet a heat transfer fluid with phase change that allows the commercial refrigeration cabinet to operate completely independently, without the need for an electrical connection to maintain the temperature of the perishable food.
This project was born with the purpose of reinforcing the commitment that Frost-trol has always manifested for environmental sustainability and the constant and continuous challenge to improve the storage conditions of perishable products.
This heat carrier fluid has two very different advantages compared to conventional furniture:

Thermal accumulator technology mitigates the temperature variation that the product suffers during the defrost process.
A reduction in electricity costs given that the cabinet is recharged during the hours when the hourly rate is at its lowest point (off-peak hours), allowing the cabinet to operate autonomously during peak hours.
This product has been selected among the different candidates to be part of "The Gallery of Innovation" for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. The R + D + i 4.0 team exhibited at the Frost-trol stand the operation of this new technology in detail.

Adriatic

Adriatic is the new double-service display case from Frost-trol's Solid Lines range, specially designed for the sale of prepared food.

Although the original design of the display case is aimed at prepared food, the Adriatic model is fully compatible with the exhibition of meat products, deli, drinks and dairy products in its assisted service area and deli, drinks and dairy products in the free service area . Both cabinets worked independently, the upper part being 3M1 climate class and the lower part 3M2.

Available in modulations of 1250, 1875, 2500 and 3750, the Adriatic display case can be assembled between the same model and can be aligned with the Alboran 91 model, from the same Solid Lines range. The furniture has two sizes of worktop: 230 and 300 mm, to be able to adapt to the preparation needs of the exposed product.

New Bering display case

During this edition of C&R, Frost-trol has presented a new model of showcase for the exhibition of meat products (3M1). It has large panoramic windows that allow the product to be viewed from any of the four sides. In addition, it has sliding rear doors with automatic closing "self-closing" with retainers with damping and the front is made of fixed glass. Work has been done to optimize the energy performance of the furniture by incorporating double glazing with a chamber in the structure.

It also stands out in its design, the possibility of being assembled with the Alboran line of showcases, which allows to generate perfect linear units combining different types of showcases.

Ammer y Konstanz

In recent months, Frost-trol has launched two new models of autonomous furniture, Ammer and Konstanz, aimed at promoting the exhibition and sale of refrigerated foods, thanks to the incorporation of transparent structural elements that allow a wide visibility in the inside the cabinet. Both models are ideal options for the display of impulse sales products, being able to arrange them at any point in the store depending on the needs of each moment.
